Questions about Android TV
Can Castario mirror to Android TV?
Yes, through a compatible native Castario receiver. A generic DLNA or Google Cast route to the same television would not provide Castario screen mirroring.
Is Google TV covered by this receiver family?
Android TV and Google TV share Castario's native receiver family, but Google TV also commonly exposes a separate built-in Google Cast route. The sender treats those routes separately.
Will every Android TV play every video?
No. File format, codec, resolution, receiver version and device decoder all matter. Castario offers playback according to measured and negotiated capabilities.
Ready for the big screen?
The first public sender is coming to iPhone and iPad. Choose a native Castario receiver for mirroring, or use Google Cast or a compatible standard TV route for the features that route supports.
