For screen mirroring, open the native Castario receiver. For compatible casting, the built-in Google Cast route can work without that app.

Do I need the Castario receiver on Google TV?
You need the native receiver for Castario screen mirroring and the fullest native route. You do not need it to cast compatible content through Google Cast and the hosted Castario Web Receiver.
Why might Castario show the same Google TV twice?
The television can expose a native Castario receiver and a separate Google Cast target. They are different routes with different capabilities, even though they end on the same screen.
Can Google TV play my own media?
Yes, when the chosen native or Cast route supports the file's format and codec. Castario does not promise that every file plays on every Google TV device.
